European Medal for Single-Mode Fiber Optic Cables Maintaining Functionality in Fire Conditions for 30 Minutes

Technokabel has once again been awarded the European Medal for one of its products. The product recognized by the Business Centre Club and the European Economic and Social Committee is a single-mode fiber optic cable that maintains functionality under fire conditions for 30 minutes.

The cable does not propagate flame, produces very low smoke emissions, and the gases emitted are non-toxic and non-corrosive. It maintains its operating parameters under fire conditions for 30 minutes in accordance with the DIN 4102-12 standard.

Reinforcement with special glass fiber provides enhanced protection against mechanical damage. The cable is designed for use in fire alarm systems and fire safety automation systems.
