Returnable Drum Handling Policy at Technokabel S.A.
- Cable drums are sold to the customer at the time of purchasing the product wound on the drum, in accordance with the applicable price list.
- VAT invoices for drums will be issued with a 14-day payment term.
- If a drum is returned within 12 months from the date of purchase, Technokabel is obliged to repurchase it at the original sale price (the primary method of settlement will be offsetting mutual receivables). If the 12-month period is exceeded, the repurchase price will be determined individually in each case.
- Returned drums are accepted based on a delivery document (PZ), which serves as the basis for issuing a resale invoice. Such an invoice may only be issued by the customer who originally purchased the drum and must reference the corresponding Technokabel sales invoice.
- If the party returning the drum is not its original purchaser, they are not entitled to resell it. However, within 3 months from the return date, they may issue a written authorization to another entity, allowing that entity to reference the PZ document. A copy of the PZ must be attached to the authorization.
- Technokabel does not accept damaged drums.
- Transportation costs for returning drums intended for resale shall be borne by the returning party.
