Application
TECHNOKONTROL HKSLHekw-P 300/500 V and TECHNOKONTROL HKSLHekw-P-Nr 300/500 V cables, flexible, shielded, with paired bundles, are designed for use in power control, protection, and supervisory systems, as well as for power supply. The use of paired bundles reduces mutual interference between signals transmitted within the cable. A common static shield protects the cable paths from interference induced by external electric fields and prevents the emission of disturbances outside the cable.
Halogen-free cables are used where increased safety in case of fire is needed. In the event of a fire, these cables do not propagate flames, the smoke emission is very low, and the emitted gases are non-corrosive.
A special cable design has achieved high flexibility and mechanical strength. The cables are suitable for permanent installation and for flexible connections indoors. The cable sheath is characterized by good resistance to oil exposure.
Structure
- flexible, multi-wire strands twisted from soft copper wires (tinned wires available on request), class 5 according to PN-EN 60228,
- core insulation made of halogen-free material (HFFR) - core insulation colors according to the PN-92/T-90321 standard (in compliance with IEC 60189-2) for TECHNOKONTROL HKSLHekw-P 300/500 V cables, or black and brown with white pair number imprint for TECHNOKONTROL HKSLHekw-P-Nr 300/500 V cables,
- insulated cores twisted into pairs,
- pairs twisted in layers into the cable core,
- cable core wrapped with polyester tape,
- common static shield made of metalized foil laminated with plastic, with a grounding wire made of soft tinned copper wires placed under the shield,
- cable sheath made of gray halogen-free material (HFFR), other colors available upon request.

TECHNOTRONIK LiYCEY - cables with flexible drain wire stranded of tin-plated annealed copper wires, laid under a shield. TECHNOTRONIK LiYCY-O and TECHNOTRONIK LiYCEY-O - cables designed for frequent contact with petroleum products, as in petrol stations and stores, where engine fuels and lubricants are pumped or handled. The cable sheath is then made of special PVC compound meeting oil resistance requirements of Polish standard PN-EN 60811-404. TECHNOTRONIK LiYC11Y and TECHNOTRONIK LiYCE11Y - polyurethane sheathed cables of enhanced protection against mechanical damage, particularly to abrasion and tear, also resistant to oils, petrol, bacteria and ultraviolet radiation. TECHNOTRONIK LiHCH and TECHNOTRONIK LiHCEH - halogen free cables, applied when higher safety in case of fire is required. The cables are flame retardant, their smoke emission in fire is low and released gases are not corrosive. TECHNOTRONIK IB-LiYCY - specially designed intrinsically safe cable.
