Technokabel Spółka Akcyjna successfully implemented a project entitled “Specialist Cables with Radiation-Crosslinked Polymeric Insulation Featuring Advanced Properties” under Measure 1.2 – Sectoral R&D Programmes of the Smart Growth Operational Programme.

The objective of the project was to develop an innovative radiation crosslinking technology for various types of cables and selected insulating materials. In addition to the design and development of this new technology, five groups of cable prototypes were created.

The result of the project is the successful implementation of an innovative radiation crosslinking process, which enabled Technokabel SA to expand its product portfolio to include radiation-crosslinked cables.
