Technokabel Spółka Akcyjna successfully implemented a project entitled “Prototypes of Microcables for Use in Highly Advanced Industrial Applications” under Sub-measure 1.1.1 – Industrial Research and Experimental Development Conducted by Enterprises, as part of the Smart Growth Operational Programme.

The aim of the project was to explore the potential for cable miniaturization by developing proprietary technology for applying various types of plastics to conductors with reduced diameters, along with the use of new insulating materials. In addition to designing the new technology, five groups of cable prototypes were developed.

The result of the project is an innovative microcable manufacturing technology, ready for implementation. It enabled Technokabel SA to introduce new and improved cable product lines to its portfolio.
