Control and Communication Cables for Building Automation – EIB BUS
EIB BUS
Cables used in building automation systems, ensuring stable data transmission for HVAC systems, lighting control, and access control systems.
APPLICATION
EIB BUS and EIB BUS-H cables are designed for connecting signaling and control devices operating in smart buildings based on the European Installation Bus (EIB) standard.
The overall static shield protects the cable pairs from interference induced by external electric fields and prevents the emission of interference outside the cable.
The cables comply with the PN-EN 60332-3 standard for flame non-propagation along vertically installed cable bundles.
The EIB BUS-H cable is recommended in locations where enhanced safety for people and valuable electronic equipment is required in the event of fire.
In the event of fire, these cables do not propagate flame, produce very low smoke emissions, and the gases released are non-toxic and non-corrosive.
The cables are intended for permanent installation inside buildings.
