Power Cables N2XH-O 0.6/1 kV and N2XH-J 0.6/1 kV

N2XH-O 0.6/1 kV and N2XH-J 0.6/1 kV

APPLICATION

The N2XH-O 0.6/1 kV and N2XH-J 0.6/1 kV cables are designed for electric power transmission and for use in power control, protection, and control systems.

Their construction allows for permanent installation in industrial systems, production lines, and air-conditioning equipment operating in dry and damp environments, as well as outdoors. The design also allows the cables to be installed in concrete, and with additional protection – in water and directly in the ground. These cables are intended for facilities with increased fire safety requirements. In the event of fire, they do not propagate flame, emit very low levels of smoke, and the gases released are non-corrosive.

Fire Safety:
The product is fully halogen-free and flame-retardant (in accordance with PN-EN 60332-1-2 and PN-EN 60332-3-23 and 24 standards). Smoke density is limited to ensure a minimum light transmittance of 70%, and the combustion products are non-corrosive (pH approx. 6.8).

Current Capacity and Insulation:
The use of cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) increases the permissible conductor operating temperature to +90°C, resulting in higher current-carrying capacity compared to standard PVC-insulated cables. In the event of a short circuit, the temperature may rise up to +250°C.

Environmental Resistance:
The black halogen-free outer sheath is UV-resistant. The operating temperature range for fixed installations is from -30°C to +90°C.

Installation Geometry:
The minimum bending radius for multi-core cables is 12 times, and for single-core cables 15 times the outer diameter. Copper conductors are available in Class 1 (solid – RE) or Class 2 (stranded – RM/SM).
